The northern ireland conflict is between two religions, the protestants and catholics. the conflict lasted 30 years. over 3 600 people were died and 40 000 others were injured. these conflict is due to different educational system, different allocation housing, different ?? divided loyalties and lack of vote rights.
one main causes of the conflict is educational system. They have schools for Protestants Only and schools for Catholics Only. schools for Protestants only taught the children british history, play british sports and loyal to United kindom. While schools for Catholics tought chilren Irish language and culture. mix school a few and not popular. ... children go to school with thier own religion. with this segregation, children wouldn't get a chance to know and learnt about other people religion and it may lead to misunderstanding in conflicts.
second point is about political system. the catholics wants to be an Irish and join to be Republic of Irealand and while protestants wants to be reunited with britsh and loyal only to united kindom.
